This week, I spent a lot of time working with the Learning Management System. I uploaded around six or seven webinars and created test that work in conjunction with those webinars. Once I showed my work to my supervisor, she was please and asked me to create step-by-step instruction guides on how to upload the webinars and how to create tests. I created the guides and am awaiting a meeting with my supervisor to show them to her. All of the material that I uploaded in available to all Department of Human Services Employees. The topics covered in the trainings mostly deal with healthcare and care of older adults. I ran into a minor issue when one of the webinar videos was a file type that was not compatible with the LMS. What I needed to do was convert the video from .mp4 to .zip. It took me a little while to figure out how to do that, but once I did, I was relieved at how simple it was.
Next Week’s Objectives: We start classes next week and I am not sure what projects they have for me to do next week yet, but I plan on completing them with the same quality as all of my previous projects.
Rating: 5 out of 5. This week I learned how to do a lot more on the LMS, which I enjoyed. I think I am now able to call myself an expert on the DHS Learning Management System which was one of my goals when I started here.
