This week the troubleshooting tickets continue. The highlight was that I met with one of our Global Information Security Officers. He was a wealth of information and provided me with some guidance on career and furthering my education. The meeting reaffirmed that a post-graduate degree is something that I should strongly consider in order to pursue my goals. It also provided insight into the many aspects and possibilities that the security field offers. Another positive outcome of the meeting is that he has offered to speak with our newly formed IT club as well as provide guidance on potential Information Security competitions. This has been a great opportunity and I am thankful that my supervisor Sheila was able to arrange this.
