This week, I was asked to create a step-by-step guide on how to enter data into the Access database I mentioned in previous posts. As well as a recommendation on how to share the database. My recommendation was to used a shared network folder. This is the easiest and cheapest option. I think using a database management server would be the best idea, but those can add extra costs, plus a lot of people are not familiar with how they work. So, I encrypted the database with a password for added security because it will be in a shared company network folder and easily accessed by anyone who has access to the folder.
I did some editing on the survey that I created in Excel as well, making sure to fix any typos or punctuation errors. I also uploaded some more learning content onto the learning management system that will be used by the Center for Learning and Development to aid in training of employees.
Next Week’s Objectives: I have finished up all the projects that have been given to me since I started, so what ever they assign to me next week is what I will be doing, which I am not sure of yet.
Rating: This week I give myself a 5 out of 5. I completed all of my work on time, and my supervisor was very pleased.
