Hello everyone. Week 7 with Vitti & Vitti & Associates has presented new opportunities for growth and development of personal skills, as it has been since week one. I continued developing the website and designing what the final menu would be, as well as the amount of data that the firm wants to showcase in the site. I also continued updating the data for existing and new clients with the help of other interns.

Last week I was presented with a big delay with the website which I explained in my previous post. Thankfully though, I was able to recover all of the advances I had made and continue with the development of the site. This week I dedicated most of the time into designing the front/main page. I am using one of the plugins that came with the package called Revolution Slider to present a few pictures with text. It took me a bit of time to figure out how to edit the images and insert text but I got it to work. I also invested some time into achieving a common CSS theme/code that could be used in all internal pages.

I was able to delegate several tasks to the other interns while I continued to work on old accounts and updating all the data with current/accurate information. This task seems to be never-ending and tedious for the most part, but I find it to be one of the most important tasks for the firm and for any organization that values their own information and the ability to present the client with accurate data at all times.

For this week on the job I give myself a 4, while I tried to complete the main page for the website, I was not able to do so.
