The events for this week consisted of trying to function at work while I suffer through a horrible cold. Once again, my supervisor has shown both caring and compassion that everyone would want to find in an ideal employer. She was extremely understanding of what I was going through and limited my work flow. As such, I spent most of my time working on items that could be dealt with remotely or in my office.
Most of the week was spent on the standard trouble tickets of fixing broken SCCM clients and updating patches remotely. I did meet with some other clients on campus for simple tasks such as delivery of a loaner laptop or replacement of a video cable. This lull in workload, due to illness, also allowed me to catch up on paperwork and the administrative portion of this job.
If I were to give myself a rating this week, I would rate myself three out of five stars. This lower rating was due to my illness causing my limited functionality. If there is one lesson learned, it is that I would like to focus more on being healthy and making better choices that support that.
