This week wasn’t as productive as I would have liked it to be. Most issues stemmed from clients not being available for me to perform repairs and troubleshooting due to their work schedules or their computers being used to run laboratory tests on their devices. I was reminded by my supervisor that this occurs occasionally and one of the interesting things about this position is having to tailor our schedules to the needs of the clients we support. With that, this week has been a lesson learned in patience and time management.
The week also had the usual routine of trouble tickets ranging from re-imaging computers with our upgraded operating system and updating security patches to various devices on campus. I’ve also been making progress on studying for my Comp Tia certification. This week I would give myself a rating of 3 of 5 due to rescheduling multiple client tickets postponing my assignments.
